About nemrod

Hello! Welcome to this little blog where I publish some of the things I do or have done. The updates are infrequent, but do go ahead and add my feed to your feed reader. :)

My name is Anders and I’m a guy from southern Sweden with a particular interest in most things related to technology, be it hardware or software. Being born in the last year of the eighties I’m currently 22 years old.

Althought I say hardware and software I mainly deal with software, both in private and in my work as a developer. I’ve had the pleasure of starting my own business along with a copartner as a software/web development consultant, but after getting recruited by a local search engine optimization firm as head of the tech department the consulting work I did was mostly moved to late nights and weekends and my main focus moved to the internet marketing field and the development of tools for the same. Interestingly I’ve recently moved on from that company and am doing my best concentrating on Tenzui once again and am enjoying it tremendously. We take on any projects that seem interesting so don’t hesitate to contact me if you’ve got any development you need done!

I do a lot of programming-related things not only at work but also in my spare time, some of which you can see on this site, for example the Chrome extensions and jQuery plugins. I’ve done a few hardware projects as well but nothing that I ever really finished or performed well enough to warrant a post here (apart from the fabulous Macbook reed switch hack).

Another bit of information that could be interesting is that I lived a year (August 2006 to August 2007) in Shiga prefecture, Japan and attended a high school called 国際情報高等学校 (Japanese for Kokusai Joho High School). It was an incredible experience and I would recommend that anyone who gets the chance to study abroad take it. You won’t regret it. I have friends and “family” (the host family I stayed with) there now and try to go there as often as I can (which usually is just once per year) and it’s always as incredible.
